Lindy Pond to Lead New REMN Branch in Virginia

Jan 08, 2013

Real Estate Mortgage Network Inc. (REMN) continues to expand its South Atlantic presence with a new office in Richmond, Va. Led by Branch Manager Lindy Pond, a nationally-recognized renovation lending expert, this new REMN office will provide Central Virginia homebuyers, home owners and real estate professionals with the high levels of quality and customer service that REMN is known for nationwide. While Pond’s focus with REMN is on Richmond and the surrounding areas, she has previously held national renovation program manager positions with three of the top lenders in the country, leading each to record-breaking production numbers. With nearly 20 years of mortgage industry experience, one of Pond’s primary goals in her new role with REMN in Richmond is to help educate first-time homebuyers on the opportunities that renovation lending can provide them. “I’m very excited to work with a company that believes so strongly in renovation lending and grow its awareness in the Richmond area," said Pond. "Renovation mortgages represent a great opportunity for first-time homebuyers to purchase properties at an affordable and realistic cost. They are really the ideal product for our time, giving buyers the means to both purchase a property and turn it into exactly the dream home they want." A graduate of the University of Mary Washington, Pond has been working in the mortgage industry since 1994. After growing up in Winchester, Pond relocated to Virginia Beach before eventually making her home in the Richmond area with her children.
