Nick Hahn Named New RFC CFO

Residential Finance Corporation (RFC) has named senior industry executive Nick Hahn to the position of chief financial officer. Hahn, a 30-year banking and financial services industry veteran, will serve as a key member of RFC’s executive team and be responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s finance and accounting functions. “Residential Finance has seen extraordinary growth over the past year, and we will continue that momentum in 2013,” said Michael Isaacs, president and chief executive officer of RFC. “Nick’s strong financial industry background and solid leadership experience will be a huge asset to Residential Financial as we move forward with our expansion in the years ahead.”
Most recently, Hahn served as the chief financial officer of Capitol Bancorp Limited in Lansing, Mich., a publicly traded community banking holding company with operations in 10 states. Prior to Capitol Bancorp, Hahn served as chief financial officer of DeepGreen Financial Inc. and chief financial officer of Senior Lending Network. Hahn has also held senior executive roles at Countrywide Financial Corporation, Associated Banc-Corp and CoBank.

Hahn holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from DePaul University. He is licensed as a certified public accountant in Ohio and registered in Illinois. Hahn will relocate to Columbus from Cleveland.
