Churchill Mortgage Ends 2012 With Record Set in $1 Billion in Loans Closed

Jan 16, 2013

Churchill Mortgage ended its 20th year in business (2012) with a record-setting $1 billion in loans closed. The lender ended the year with more than 6,000 mortgage loans originated. Churchill further supported its lending business by delivering more than 60,000 of its free educational reports as of 2012, guiding individuals through the various stages of homeownership. With 2013 underway, Churchill Mortgage plans to build from its impressive 2012 expansion where it opened branches in more than a dozen new communities across the nation, recruited nearly 80 employees and promoted several others (adding more than 480 years of combined industry experience). The lender continues to be dedicated to cultivating young talent in Middle Tennessee. In 2012, Churchill introduced a new training program for recent college graduates, a customized program aimed to help prepare young professionals for long-term careers, whether within the company or elsewhere. By partnering with Mortgage Coach and employing its EDGE video and Web presentation technology, Churchill delivers loan options with unmatched clarity to all prospective borrowers, helping them to make confident, informed decisions. Churchill and Mortgage Coach are working to reshape the mortgage experience by providing consistent first-class service, tailored to help borrowers achieve rapid debt freedom at every branch. Another key partnership established in 2012, Churchill collaborated with Mortgagebot to accept online mortgage loan applications via an integrated point-of-sale solution (IPOS). In addition to the Middle Tennessee market, Churchill announced that they are now using the innovative Home Buyers Marketing Inc. (HBM) program in South Carolina to offer a more streamlined approach to matching loan products and homes with borrowers. Additionally, Churchill was named a finalist for Nashville’s “Best in Business” by the Nashville Business Journal, which also recognized Matthew C. Clarke, Churchill’s chief operating officer and chief financial officer, as a finalist of the 2012 CFO Awards. Furthermore, Churchill Mortgage helped provide more than $500,000 in donations to dozens of charities and organizations last year to benefit children and local communities of its branch locations.  “Churchill Mortgage’s twentieth anniversary was monumental. We made significant additions to our staff, expanded into new markets and formed strategic partnerships to offer exceptional services and benefits to more borrowers,” said Mike Hardwick, founder and president of Churchill Mortgage. “Entering 2013, we are focused on growing our origination platform and offering services in new markets. We aim to deliver solid financial advice consistent with our consultative approach to lending, and with nationally syndicated radio talk show host, Dave Ramsey’s sound principals, who has exclusively endorsed Churchill for the past 20 years.”
