ICON Residential Lenders has announced that Matt Modugno will join the company as area sales manager of the following counties; San Diego, Imperial, Riverside and San Bernardino, Calif. The company has also announced that Dennis Kuncas has joined the company as senior vice president of mortgage operations.

Modugno joins ICON after a successful career with Sago Capital Management. He formerly worked at First Franklin Financial Corporation, a Merrill Lynch company, for many years in various positions, including vice president/branch manager. Modugno has an exceptional track record for achieving production growth with measurable results.

Kuncas began his mortgage career in 1992 at Countrywide where he succeeded in moving the organization forward by growing operations from 10 employees to 130.

Having held various leadership positions throughout his career, Kuncas has knowledge and experience in branch management, operation, production and sales responsibilities. Prior to joining Icon, Kuncas held senior level positions at Deutsche Bank and Kinecta Federal Credit Union.
