Real Estate Mortgage Network Inc. (REMN) has promoted Jamie Zeitz to the newly created position of Florida renovation manager. Zeitz, who joined REMN in 2012 as branch manager for the company’s Jacksonville office, will focus on refining and growing REMN’s renovation lending practice across the company’s multiple Florida locations. A certified renovation specialist, Zeitz is well-regarded as one of the leading renovation finance professionals in the country.
Recently, REMN expanded its Renovation Concierge Service to include FannieMae HomeStyle and HomePath loans, in addition to the FHA 203(k) mortgage products that were already supported.
“The amount of homes currently on the market in Florida in need of major repairs or minor upgrades represents a huge opportunity for renovation lending,” said Steve Marshall, national renovation director for REMN. “REMN is committed to the idea of renovation lending to help turn the existing properties on the market into future dream homes for residents. Jamie is a proven leader and experienced specialist and we feel he can help us become one of the top renovation-producing mortgage banks in the country.”
Prior to joining REMN, Zeitz worked with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, where he was a top-five producer for renovation mortgages. Outside of the office, he is an active member of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals (FAMP) and the Northeast Florida Builders Association (NEFBA). Originally from Birmingham, Ala., Zeitz has been a Jacksonville, Fla. resident for the last 12 years.
