Churchill Mortgage has announced its expansion into Michigan with the opening of two branches, on in Okemos, Mich., and the lender’s second branch in Grand Rapids. Churchill’s newest branch managers, Evan Vanderwey and Steve Vanderwey, will lead the two branches, respectively. Prior to Churchill, both served as advisors for Cornerstone Wealth Partners, LLC, and were co-owners of Cornerstone Home Loans for more than 14 years. In addition, both are licensed Mortgage Loan Originators, Registered Investment Advisors, members of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association and certified workplace trainers through Dave Ramsey.
Evan Vanderwey is also a member of the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors and Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce, and earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Calvin College in Grand Rapids. Also involved in his local community, Steven Vanderwey is a member of the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors and Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce and aims to provide sound financial investment coaching.
To support efforts in Michigan, Churchill also welcomes processors Kandice Noyola, Karen Roberts and Kimberly Jenison, who bring more than two decades of combined industry experience to the Greater Lansing area. The lender also added Christopher DeRuischer as its newest assistant home loan specialist; Joshua VanDyke as a loan officer; and Maureen Partlo as a processor to support its Grand Rapids branch.
“Our branches in Michigan are instrumental to our commitment to serve the financing needs of the communities in the Greater Lansing area and in Grand Rapids,” said Mike Hardwick, president of Churchill Mortgage. “By recruiting these two teams of mortgage lending experts, we are confident we will continue to help more individuals achieve their goal of owning a home.”
