Blueberry Systems LLC has announced the promotion of industry veteran Dominick Marchetti to chief operations officer. In addition, he was appointed to the company’s board of directors where he is now a part owner.
Marchetti has more than 17 years of leadership and mortgage banking experience. Prior to joining Blueberry Systems in 2011 as executive vice president, he served as the chief production officer of StoneWater Mortgage Corporation where he was integral in the creation of a custom loan origination platform that was essential to growing monthly originations up to $138 million within the first six months of operations.
Previously, he co-founded and served as chief technology officer of First Magnus Financial Corporation, where he was responsible for the development of an in-house loan origination solution that enabled the company to become a nationally ranked top 20 lender.
“It is exciting to be a part of the industry in this day and time,” said Marchetti. “I expect Blueberry Systems to be an integral player in the mortgage technology space for years to come. We are going to be thoughtful about our solutions, deliberate about our approach and relentless on behalf of our customers.”
“We are fortunate to have someone of Dominick’s caliber and experience take over the day-to-day operations at Blueberry Systems,” said Wil Armstrong, a founder and CEO of Blueberry Systems. “His background and history of success are second-to-none.”
