SafeGuard Credit Counseling Services Inc. has selected IndiSoft’s RxOffice Premium Counselor Edition to better serve the needs of homeowners in New York. The non-profit chose IndiSoft, a technology development firm that focuses on systems for the financial services industry, based on its ability to equip counselors with a comprehensive case management system.
“IndiSoft’s RxOffice Premium Counselor Edition exceeds the needs of counseling agents,” said Carolyn McCormack, assistant vice president of SafeGuard Credit Counseling Services. “Other housing counseling products are available, but none have the high level of functionality, a direct link to the Hope LoanPort or the level of support that IndiSoft’s solution has. We can now easily maintain contact with clients, organize and track documents and run reports that meet our internal quality control requirements as well as ensure counselors provide the best service possible to consumers.”
SafeGuard was established in 1996 to help consumers meet their fiscal responsibilities and financial goals through ethical financial literacy education and credit and bankruptcy counseling programs. McCormack explained that the company added housing counseling services in 2008 based on the growing need to educate clients and help them regain financial footing.
“We have used different systems in the past,” McCormack pointed out, “but not one has delivered the detailed reporting capabilities that we have from IndiSoft. Now, we are able to determine where we can be more efficient. RxOffice helps counseling agents of any size automatically track activities, which is crucial when time is limited.”
Initially, five of SafeGuard’s counselors will use RxOffice Premium Counselor Edition, McCormack explained. The remaining five counselors will be trained and using the technology in the near future.
