Quality Mortgage Services expands with the addition of Sherrie Reed

Jan 28, 2010

Quality Mortgage Services LLC Executive Vice President Tommy Duncan, CMT has announced the company will be expanding its services to include mortgage servicing to its current and perspective client base. Sherrie Reed, RCS-D will head up the division. “Sherrie has a wealth of knowledge in the industry and is a perfect fit for the position,” said Duncan. “The decision to expand our services was the next step in the evolution of our company. Mortgage Servicing will further expand our national presence and solidify Quality Mortgage Services in the mortgage industries’ servicing arena. We are proud to have Sherrie take the lead in this new endeavor.” Reed brings more than 20 years experience in the mortgage industry. Sherrie is a certified real estate education instructor in Washington State, and has written and instructs four continuing education classes in Tennessee. The new branch, QMS Servicing, will focus on easing the burden often associated with mortgage and escrow payments clients usually face. “What this does, it eliminates the need for the lender to have someone on staff manage the servicing,” Reed said. “We make sure the mortgage payments are maintained, the insurance and taxes paid when due, and if a borrower is late, We send out the late notices. QMS Servicing is streamlining the process for the lender as well as the borrower.” Quality Mortgage Services, LLC was formed in January 1992. It provides mortgage quality control services nationwide. Its ability to provide the examinations and compliance verification is supported by extensive experience in mortgage lending. The staff of QMS brings a wealth of knowledge and a wide range of professional and technical mortgage lending experience to the business. Its abilities are based upon strong government, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgage lending backgrounds, many years of staff experience in HUD’s Washington Monitoring Division, and hundreds of compliance audits of mortgage companies throughout the United States. QMS Servicing is exhibiting at the MBA’s National Mortgage Servicing Conference & Expo 2010 in San Diego, Calif., Tuesday-Friday, Feb. 23-26, 2010.
