Velma has announced the release of Velma 2.0.
"Our initial release of Velma was a fairly basic concept of what we expect Velma to become," says Dan Sullivan, VP of marketing for Velma.com. "We have aligned development closely with customer service. The new features are being added and prioritized by our clients requests. Our users are essentially building the Velma system as we grow."
The company says Velma now offers realtor co-branding, or the ability to brand cards, postcards, newsletters, letters and other marketing tasks with not only your photo, logo and signature, but also with that of the Realtor who referred the particular client, and Velma can do it automatically. Velma 2.0 also adds richer content, custom tagging of clients, and a host of other features.
Velma has the ability to pull data from Calyx Point, Encompass, Byte, Genesis, Act, Excel, Outlook, Goldmine, and a host of other data sources.
Velma is a virtual marketing assistant that builds and maintains your database, advises you when an event is about to happen (birthday, monthly newsletters, ARM expiration, loan anniversary, etc), allows you to personalize it on the fly, and mails out professionally produced marketing pieces to your clients. Velma, a spin-off of Hewlett Packard and Countrywide, and was designed by mortgage loan officers.
