AFR Brings on David Margulies as EVP of Global Sales

American Financial Resources Inc. (AFR) has announced the hiring of David Margulies, executive vice president, global sales. Margulies has more than 30 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry, and will lead AFR's sales platform as well as oversee the acquisition of conventional/government agency and jumbo mortgage products. Prior to joining AFR, Margulies worked at Proficio Mortgage Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Proficio Bank, where he served as executive vice president/managing director of the Residential Mortgage Division. He was responsible for Proficio’s national mortgage banking platform, which included production, operations and capital markets. “We are excited to have David, one of the mortgage industry’s top leaders, join our executive team,” said Richard Dubnoff, CEO of AFR. “His incredible leadership, experience and expertise in building large-scale sales channels, will further expand AFR’s capabilities in the retail, wholesale and correspondent aspects of our business.”
