Apr 25, 2014

W.J. Bradley Mortgage Capital LLC has announced that it has promoted Danya Sawyer to senior vice president of mortgage operations. In this role, Sawyer will be responsible for leading overall mortgage operations for the company; specifically, mortgage fulfillment, secondary marketing, product development, pricing and margin management, servicing channels and warehouse operations. Sawyer will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer William J. Bradley. “We know that the mortgage industry can shift sharply and quickly, and while we believe it is a cyclical industry, we are rarely afforded the ability to predict exactly how and when these market moves will hit. In this role, Danya’s leadership and experience in many corners of the industry offers us a great advantage in our ability to be prepared to respond appropriately to any market impact – positive or negative,” said William J. Bradley, founder and CEO of W.J. Bradley. “Her ability to move with purpose and face any challenge head-on is demonstrated daily, as she continues to contribute to shaping our organization as we evolve in step with the ever-changing industry.” “As a company, we are committed to providing the tools, infrastructure, pricing and products that each of our retail markets require in order to best service their local borrowers and attain continued growth and success,” said Sawyer. “Prioritizing streamlined workflows and easy-to-navigate process management ensures delivery methods that meet the fundamental expectations that retail sales staff have of our in-house operations business. Though these are the basics; ultimately these standards combined with our aggressive product and pricing pursuits will position us as the most locally relevant and regionally competitive lender in the marketplace.” Sawyer enters her new role with more than 12 years of residential mortgage lending and operations experience. After having joined W.J. Bradley in 2012 as Vice President, Business Operations, she spent over a year working toward enhancing operations strategy and daily fulfillment direction for the company. Prior to joining W.J. Bradley, Sawyer served as senior vice president of product management at Bank of America where she led all prioritization, development and implementation efforts related to the MHA/HARP product line. Sawyer graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics.
