NMI Holdings Inc., the parent company of National Mortgage Insurance Corporation (National MI), has announced that the company has won the MobileWebAwards for Best Financial Services Mobile Application. The annual award is presented by the Web Marketing Association to organizations in recognition of excellence in mobile Web development. National MI Mobile App is an innovative mortgage insurance application that provides customers with a seamless user experience from Web to mobile. Through its app, National MI has transformed the way mortgage insurance is done, allowing customers to easily run rate scenarios and receive announcements such as guideline changes from the company.

“We are very excited to be recognized for having the best mobile application in the financial services industry,” said Pete Pannes, chief sales officer. “We’ve designed our mobile app to be engaging and easily viewed by mobile platforms, and this award is a reflection of that. Today, loan officers need the best tools available in order to compete effectively. Our mobile application is a great example of our commitment to help them win more business.”

The Web Marketing Association judges entries based on several criteria, including: Creativity, impact, design, content, interactivity, ease of use, and use of the medium.

“This award program recognizes the individual and team achievements of Web professionals all over the world who create and maintain the best mobile Websites and the best mobile applications,” said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association. “Each year the WebAwards receives amazing entries from around the world that show impressive creativity and functionality.”
