Michael Recotta to Head Up GSF's First Branch in Louisiana

Mar 16, 2015

GSF Mortgage has announced the opening of its first branch in the state of Louisiana, in the town of Metairie, to be led by Michael Recotta. Recotta joins GSF with eight years of mortgage industry experience.

Recotta is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with an industrial technology degree. Upon graduation, he worked as a draftsman and when the market fell out, he went to work in the casino industry. That’s where he met someone who introduced him to the mortgage industry.

Recotta is used to being a one-man show. He works very hands-on with his customers and works six days a week and nights. As an added level of customer service, Recotta will travel to meet his customers to talk to them face-to-face about their loan. He plans to delve into social media and Internet marketing to help expand his reach in the state.

“I am pleased to welcome Michael to our family. I am looking forward to helping him go from a one-man show to a family environment, in turn helping him grow in his market. We know he will have great success in Louisiana,” said GSF Mortgage National Sales Director Mike Maida.
