Equity National Title has announced the addition of Travis Cline and Jonathan Hill, both in the role of vice president, national sales executive. Equity is a national title/settlement agent offering a full array of title and settlement solutions for first mortgage and home equity lenders.

As VP, national sales executives, Cline and Hill will focus on further growing Equity’s market share and geographic footprint. They will also serve as resources to existing clients. According to James K. O’Donnell Esq., president of Equity, the company’s recent rollout of several new services has resulted in a significant increase in new business and new business inquiries, necessitating the additions.

“We’ve introduced a few new services designed to aid lenders with certain compliance issues and to help them close more loans in the past two years, which has brought about a surge in market interest,” O'Donnell said. “Travis and Jon understand what lenders are facing in balancing increased risks with a need to close more loans. We’re confident they will quickly become trusted resources for our existing clients as well as for new customers.”

Cline (pictured right) comes to Equity National with extensive experience on the mortgage lending side of the industry as well as settlement services. He began his career as a manager with Beneficial Finance before becoming president with Apex Mortgage in 2003. He also served with national mortgage insurance provider MGIC before becoming vice president of national sales for Vantage Point Title. He holds a bachelor’s of business administration, economics/management degree from Marshall University.

Hill comes to Equity National with 15 years of settlement services experience, having spent the past five years at First Title and Escrow.  He worked previously with Title One, a Michigan based settlement services firm.  Hill attended University of Michigan- Dearborn.
