Ellie Mae Appoints Two New EVPs

Ellie Mae has announced the promotions of Cathleen Schreiner Gates to executive vice president of sales and marketing and Joseph Tyrrell to executive vice president of corporate strategy. With the promotions, both now become officers of the company.

“I am pleased to announce the promotions of Cathleen Schreiner Gates and Joe Tyrrell, two key members of our leadership team, to executive vice president,” said Jonathan Corr, president and CEO of Ellie Mae.  “Both Joe and Cathleen have been instrumental in the tremendous growth of Ellie Mae.  We have entered 2015 well positioned to continue to grow market share and revenues, and I have great confidence in their abilities to help us continue to advance our leadership position in the mortgage technology industry, to support our customers, further differentiate the company, and to deliver on our plans for the future.”

Schreiner Gates has served as senior vice president of sales and client services since February 2012, overseeing all sales, client management, professional services, customer support and training. Schreiner Gates holds an MBA in finance from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management and a BA in French literature from Douglass College-Rutgers University.

Tyrrell has been with Ellie Mae since 2002 and most recently held the position of senior vice president of corporate strategy, overseeing Ellie Mae’s business and corporate development efforts involving the company’s network of current and potential business partners and merger and acquisition strategies. Previously, Tyrrell served as Ellie Mae’s senior vice president of client management and business development. Tyrrell holds a BA in business management from St. Mary’s College.
