Gateway Mortgage Group has announced that Lincoln Mortgage Company, formerly a Division of Gateway Mortgage Group LLC, began operating under the Gateway Mortgage Group name. Lincoln Mortgage joined Gateway in early 2014, bringing with it three legacy offices in Wayne, Pa.; Marlton, N.J.; and Vineland, N.J. as well as a recently opened office in Philadelphia. Lincoln has contributed more than 25 employees, of which 18 are loan originators, to the Gateway workforce.

“Lincoln Mortgage Company was an excellent addition to the Gateway national footprint,” said Kevin Stitt, CEO of Gateway Mortgage Group. “Their team not only represents some of the top talent in the industry, they have also been a great fit to our company’s culture and mission to serve communities through homeownership. We are excited to move them over to the Gateway Mortgage Group brand we have established in more than 25 states.”

“Becoming part of Gateway has been a tremendous opportunity to expand our capabilities in the Northeast,” said Chris Wilhelm, regional vice president, Gateway Mortgage Group. “This move has given us a strong foothold in the region and we are only continuing to grow; we have plans to open two new offices in Clark, N.J., and Newtown, Pa. very soon.”

“Gateway’s platform and tradition of success was extremely appealing to us,” said John Sly, area manager and original founder of Lincoln Mortgage Company. “We have been serving our customers and referral partners in the Delaware Valley market for nearly 25 years, and we look forward to continuing that tradition as part of the Gateway family.”
