WFG's Cain and Rebadow to Oversee the Company’s Agency Group

WFG National Title Insurance Company has named Executive Vice Presidents Charles Cain and Gene Rebadow to co-manage its Agency Group. Both will be charged with overseeing and leading the company’s work with independent title agencies in their respective geographic regions.

“Gene and Chuck have been pivotal in growing WFG to its current size in an incredibly short time period,” said Joseph McCabe, executive vice president and general counsel for Williston Financial Group. “Both have consistently embodied our fundamental approach of communicating, collaborating and co-existing with independent agents across the nation. We can attribute much of our success to their hard work and leadership and are confident we will see continued success as they move into their new roles.”

Cain, who has been promoted to the role of executive vice president, Agency will oversee all operations pertaining to WFG’s relationship with independent agents in the company’s Central and National divisions. He has been with WFG since 2010, most recently serving as senior vice president, managing the Midwestern Agency region. A native Cincinnatian, Cain has been a licensed title insurance agent for more than 25 years and was an owner/operator of his own agency for 18 years. He has also served in private practice and worked in a senior position with another of the title industry’s largest underwriters prior to joining WFG. Overall, he has been in the title insurance industry since 1977, and is a frequent conference speaker on matters impacting title agents, such as regulatory reform, RESPA and the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) rule. He is a graduate of Ohio State University and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.

Rebadow, who joined WFG in 2010 as well, will serve as executive vice president, Agency. He will oversee WFG’s collaboration with independent agencies in the company’s Eastern Division. He has 35-plus years in the mortgage banking and title insurance industry. The majority of his experience is in agency management, having served lengthy tenures with two of the nation’s largest underwriters. He was previously a senior vice president, overseeing agency matters in Florida, New York and New Jersey. He has served on the board of directors for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), Greater Board of Realtors and the Niagara Frontier Builders Association in the Western New York area.
