B2R Finance has announced the appointment of Matt Malanga as chief marketing officer, reporting to the firm's Chief Executive Officer Jason Hogg. Malanga will be responsible for driving the company’s national brand marketing strategy and will support the continued development, deployment and promotion of the Dwell Finance platform, B2R’s loan decisioning engine backed by proprietary data and analytics. Malanga will also oversee product development and marketing initiatives, as well as the integration of Dwell Finance products into the B2R suite of lending solutions.

“Ensuring we reach our customers through their preferred channel and in a way that enhances the borrower experience is a strategic priority for B2R," said Hogg. "Matt brings a strong quantitative marketing background, enabling us to build a solid platform of brands and creatively connect partners to customers through technology.”

Malanga joined B2R with more than 20 years of experience in building brands, marketing operations, demand generation, and digital marketing, among other areas of expertise. He has held key marketing leadership roles at BMC Software, Citrix Systems and Oracle and led marketing in several successful start-ups including BTG, an Inc. 500 fastest growing private company, Medsite Inc., later sold to WebMD, and Revolution Money–now American Express Serve. He earned his MBA from Cornell University’s S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management and his BS in management science from Virginia Tech.
