GSF Expands Its Sunshine State Present With Addition of LO Yolanda Planes

Jun 18, 2015

GSF Mortgage has announced the addition of Yolanda Planes as mortgage loan originator in GSF's Cape Coral, Fla. branch, joining the firm with 30 years of mortgage industry experience. Planes entered the mortgage industry as a processor and moved her way up to become a FHA underwriter. As she gained knowledge of the industry, she decided to get her mortgage origination license and open her own mortgage company where she specialized in residential, commercial and hard equity lending. Planes is bilingual in both English and Spanish.

“Yolanda is well versed in virtually all mortgage products and specialized in County Downpayment Assistant Programs. Her bilingual talents allow her to serve both the English and Spanish speaking community and we are very happy to have her in the GSF family,” said Ruth Watkins, GSF regional branch manager.

Planes stays very active within her community. She is a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Lee and Collier County, the Lee County Chamber, Cape Coral Chamber, Board of Realtors of Lee, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and numerous other associations. She also partners up with real estate companies to present first-time homebuyer education seminars.
