Ellie Mae, Actualize Consulting and eLynx Products Awarded MISMO Software Certification for TRID

Oct 19, 2015

MISMO has announced that Ellie Mae, Actualize Consulting and eLynx have received MISMO certification for their Encompass, TRIDenTool and Expedite software products, respectively. Specifically, Encompass, TRIDenTool and Expedite have been awarded what is known as a Standard Level Certification for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) Know Before You Owe rule TILA/RESPA Integrated Disclosures (TRID).

“We congratulate Ellie Mae, Actualize Consulting and eLynx for obtaining a certificate for Encompass, TRIDenTool and Expedite through MISMO’s software compliance certification program,” said MISMO President Mike Fratantoni.  “The Know Before You Owe rule creates real challenges for the industry and we are proud to be able to certify Encompass, TRIDenTool and Expedite for appropriate use of the MISMO standards for TRID.”

MISMO Software Certification provides assurance that a technology provider’s products demonstrate compliance with MISMO standards and best practices. The Standard Level Certification provides a foundational certification of appropriate use of MISMO standards and best practices within a specified business domain through self-assessment, with validation of aspects of the self-assessment by MISMO staff and receipt of integration partner references. Only products certified by MISMO may utilize the term “certified MISMO compliant”—a symbol of industry excellence.

Encompass is Ellie Mae’s fully integrated solution that covers the entire loan life cycle and provides one system of record for efficiently closing high quality, compliant loans.

TRIDenTool is Actualize Consulting’s solution to seamlessly produce the forms required by CFPB as part of the Know Before You Owe rule. It is a user-friendly tool that performs the required calculations and guides one through the creation of the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure forms interfacing with loan origination tools or as a stand-alone solution.

Expedite is eLynx’s suite of integrated on-demand services that simplify paperless business processes between enterprises and their customers and partners. Lenders who utilize Expedite can achieve the quality, efficiency and compliance benefits of an end-to-end data-validated mortgage. Expedite can electronically deliver and receive back signed loan documents from consumers. Through Expedite, Lenders can also collaborate electronically with other workflow participants to exchange data, create the most accurate Know Before You Owe mortgage disclosure forms, and manage fraud.
