Geri Brewster Joins HomeUnion as Chief Compliance and Risk Officer

HomeUnion has announced that they have hired Geri Brewster as chief compliance and risk officer

HomeUnion has announced that they have hired Geri Brewster as chief compliance and risk officer where she will oversee legal, risk and compliance functions for the company. In addition, she is also responsible for human resources, business development and HomeUnion Lending Inc., the new mortgage brokerage subsidiary of HomeUnion. She will report to Don Ganguly, CEO of HomeUnion.

Brewster has more than 30 years of leadership experience in government, legal, corporate and private equity environments. Most recently she was COO at Fleetgistics, a private equity funded company in the transportation logistics space. Prior to Fleetgistics, she spent the bulk of her career in various C-Level positions with Toyota Financial Services including general counsel and group vice president, Toyota Financial Savings Bank. Before joining Toyota she spent several years as a real estate finance attorney in private practice.

“Geri brings to HomeUnion a broad set of skills and knowledge from her career within highly regulated industries that will be vital to our continued expansion,” said Ganguly. “Her unique combination of legal, operations and business skills will provide a strong foundation for our future growth.”

Brewster received her BA from West Virginia University and her JD from WVU College of Law.
