The Agency Group for WFG National Title Insurance Company has appointed John Micciche, CLTP, to serve as vice president and regional manager and Walter Weinschenk as underwriting counsel for the company’s new Chesapeake Region, comprised of agents in Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. (formerly of the Southeast Region).

Throughout his career, Micciche has served title agents throughout Maryland as an agency representative, an area manager and a regional manager for various major underwriters. He has also served in an auditing capacity and has provided guidance on state and RESPA compliance issues, including the formation of corporate entities, as well as Affiliated Business Arrangements (ABAs). Additionally, Micciche has been responsible for business development and customer support throughout his career.

Micciche will serve as a resource for WFG National Title agents as well as growing the company’s agent network in the region.

“John is no stranger to providing exceptional customer service and expedient underwriting solutions,” said EVP Charles Cain Esq., co-manager of WFG National Title’s Agency Group. “He will build upon and further enhance our efforts to provide relevant information and education in addition to the tools our agents need to survive and succeed.”

Weinschenk has served most of his career in the region as commercial counsel, underwriting attorney and commercial services manager for major national title insurers. He has underwritten and has presided over numerous residential and commercial sales and financing transactions, including the sale of shopping centers, race tracks, apartment complexes, farms, office buildings and mixed use projects. Over the course of his career, Weinschenk has founded and managed his own title insurance agency in Rockville, Md. and engaged in private general legal practice. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.

“Many WFG agents are already familiar with Walter and he is highly regarded in the region,” said Cain. “His experience, versatility and wide range of expertise will be welcomed by our agents, as well as giving prospective agents yet another reason to partner with us.”
