Stonegate Mortgage Corporation has announced that Betty Lonis has been named senior vice president of Human Resources

Stonegate Mortgage Corporation has announced that Betty Lonis has been named senior vice president of Human Resources, where she will lead the company’s human resources efforts. She will report directly to Jim Smith, Stonegate Mortgage's president and COO.

“Betty is a strong human resources leader with a successful track record in talent acquisition, team building and organizational development," said Smith. "I am very excited she has joined us and look forward to working with her as part of the Stonegate team.” 

Lonis has more than 25 years of experience in the human resources field. Most recently, she worked as vice president of Human Resources for Navient Corporation. Previously, she held senior positions with UnitedHealthcare as human capital director, and Eli Lilly and Company as human resources manager.

“It is clear that Stonegate Mortgage is not only a leader in the mortgage industry, but more importantly a company that places tremendous value on its customers and employees,” said Lonis. “I look forward to working with the Stonegate team and making a contribution to their continuing success.”
