RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation has announced that mortgage origination industry veteran Kelli Yarbrough has joined the company as vice president of Loan Retention, responsible for all aspects of customer contact in the loan retention process for RoundPoint's MSR portfolio. Yarbrough is a veteran of the mortgage industry with more than 16 years of experience leading both sales and operations teams in wholesale, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels. She is licensed as a mortgage loan originator in 47 states and as a qualified individual in 23 states.

"We realized some time ago that borrower retention would emerge as a competitive imperative for servicers," said RoundPoint CEO Kevin Brungardt. "To ensure that RoundPoint is the very best at serving borrowers, offering a mortgage as part of our homeownership marketplace product suite is critical. We knew we needed the right executive to lead that team and the positioning of the mortgage product in our marketplace. We know Kelli and we know her capabilities. She is exactly what we need in this position and I'm very glad we were able to attract her back into the company."

In her new position, Yarbrough is responsible for establishing an origination division to retain current portfolio customers that may be seeking a refinance allowing RoundPoint the opportunity to continue to provide "White Glove" servicing. Development includes systems, best practices for sales, operations procedures, training, and compliance for the entire lifecycle of the loan, ensuring smooth closing transactions while paying the highest regard to industry regulations.
