Academy Mortgage has named Aaron Nemec executive vice president of production. In this role, Nemec will be responsible for the management and growth of production throughout the organization.

“Aaron will be an integral member of Academy’s Executive Team,” said Academy’s CEO Adam Kessler. “With nearly two decades of mortgage company management experience, he is well qualified for the position and will play a crucial role in helping our company achieve its mission to be the 1st CHOICE home loan lender in the country.”

Nemec comes to Academy from Guild Mortgage, where he spent the past two years managing all of the lender’s retail mortgage banking production activities as executive vice president and national retail manager. Prior to this, he served as a VP and regional manager at Guild Mortgage, leading the lender’s largest region, the Desert and Mountain Region, to record growth.

“I’m honored and humbled to have been selected EVP of production for Academy, with an opportunity to lead more than 225 retail locations across the country,” said Nemec. “It is a privilege to work for an organization that consistently delivers outstanding service to its customers and referral partners, invests heavily in developing its professional talent into leaders, and does its part to make a positive impact in the communities in which they serve.”
