First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation (FGMC) has announced that correspondent lending sales veteran Van Evans has joined the company as regional sales manager of the Correspondent Division

First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation (FGMC) has announced that correspondent lending sales veteran Van Evans has joined the company as regional sales manager of the Correspondent Division.

 “Van is an exceptional value-add to the sales management team.  He brings stellar experience, vast product knowledge, outstanding sales management skillsets, and a wealth of industry relationships to FGMC,” said Mark Mayhook, senior director of TPO Production for FGMC. “Van will manage our West Region which encompasses California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii, and Alaska.”

Evans brings 17 years of mortgage industry experience to FGMC. Prior to joining FGMC, he was divisional VP of Correspondent Sales for Finance of America Mortgage LLC, a Blackstone Company; and correspondent rural housing account executive for JPMorgan Chase. During his tenure at Chase, Evans sourced and procured more than $5 billion in USDA Guaranteed Rural Housing loans.

Van Evans received his bachelor of arts degree from Bowling Green State University–Bowling Green, Ohio.
