For the second consecutive year, the Assurant Foundation and Assurant’sStreetLinks Lender Solutions are national sponsors of Wounded Warriors Family Support

For the second consecutive year, the Assurant Foundation and Assurant’sStreetLinks Lender Solutions are national sponsors of Wounded Warriors Family Support, a non-profit organization supporting the families of wounded veterans and those killed in action. Assurant will serve as a national sponsor of WWFS’ High Five Tour, a 26,000-mile journey to more than 100 cities to raise funds and awareness for wounded military veterans and their families. The Assurant Foundation, the charitable arm of Assurant, has contributed $75,000 to bring accessible housing and transportation, as well as other support, to wounded veterans. In addition, donations from StreetLinks’ employees to enhance home accessibility for vets will be matched dollar-for-dollar.

Assurant’s StreetLinks team was privileged to host retired Marine Col. John Folsom, founder and president of Wounded Warriors Family Support, at its Indianapolis headquarters earlier this month.

“As proud supporters of the military and Wounded Warriors Family Support, it was an honor to welcome Colonel Folsom, and learn more about their important work,” said Tom Hurst, president of StreetLinks. “All of us at StreetLinks and across Assurant are thrilled to partner with this organization for the second year, as we know they share our commitment and dedication to helping our nation’s heroes and their families.”

“It was a pleasure to visit StreetLinks headquarters and talk with their team members in Indianapolis,” Folsom said.  "We at Wounded Warriors Family Support are excited to partner with StreetLinks and the Assurant Foundation, and we thank them for their continuing support."

The High Five Tour plans to visit four more Assurant offices on its trek across the nation this summer and fall.
