FGMC Bolsters Its Correspondent Division With Two New Additions

First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation (FGMC) has announced that mortgage industry veterans David Sorsabal and Marty Richardson have joined the company as account executives for the Correspondent Division–Western Region

First Guaranty Mortgage Corporation (FGMC) has announced that mortgage industry veterans David Sorsabal and Marty Richardson have joined the company as account executives for the Correspondent Division–Western Region.

“David and Marty are both exceptional additions to the Western Region, led by Van Evans, regional sales manager. Their experience, product knowledge and industry relationships are a true value-add to the company,” said Mark Mayhook, senior director of TPO Production for FGMC. “David will manage seller relationships in Washington, Idaho and Wyoming; and Marty will manage Northern California and Nevada.”

Sorsabal and Richardson each bring 25-plus years of mortgage industry experience to FGMC. Prior to joining FGMC, Sorsabal was AVP, Secondary Marketing manager at AmericanWest Bank; Secondary Marketing for Mountain West Bank; VP of Secondary Marketing for MortgageTree Lending; VP of Secondary Marketing at Golden Empire Mortgage; and pricing coordinator of Secondary Marketing for GlenFed Mortgage.

Richardson’s career path includes roles as correspondent account executive for Impac Mortgage; BDM–Conduit Division for IndyMac Bank; sales director of the Correspondent Lending Division for GMAC-RFC; VP/regional AE of Correspondent Lending for First Union Home Equity Bank; director–national sales manager for Access Financial Lending Corporation; AVP–regional sales manager for Commerce Security Bank; and AVP–regional sales manager at United California Savings Bank.
