Sep 14, 2016

The Broward Chapter of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals (FAMP) recently held an event at TRIO Bistro in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. to benefit Honor Flight of South Florida. With the money raised and help from sponsors, the Broward Chapter was able to make a donation of $1,600-plus to Honor Flight of South Florida to send four World War II veterans to Washington, D.C. via the Honor Flight Network to attend a memorial on Oct. 29, 2016.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. Honor Flight transports veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans–World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
