Now Listed: The Most Expensive Apartment in the World

Oct 13, 2016
La Tour Odeon

Well, here is one property that might need a Super-Duper-Jumbo Mortgage: the world’s most expensive apartment is now up for sale.

According to a report in Mansion Global, a five-story penthouse in the pricey Principality of Monaco, is on the market for $335 million. Located on the 45th through the 49th floors of La Tour Odeon, Monaco’s tallest building, the apartment encompasses 31,500-square-feet and includes a roof deck and an infinity pool with a waterslide. The building’s amenities include 24/7 concierge service, a private cinema or screening room, valet parking, a private shuttle service with a Mercedes-Benz fleet and a soon-to-be-opened upscale restaurant from Cipriani.

If the apartment sells at its listing price, it will surpass the record for luxury apartment sales achieved in New York City in April 2015 with a unit that sold for more than $100 million. But there is one caveat on this newly listed residence: anyone moving into this swanky pad needs become a full-time resident of Monaco. But, hey, there are worse places to live!
