Vellum Mortgage has announced the hiring of Greg Kingsbury and the Kingsbury Mortgage Team

Vellum Mortgage has announced the hiring of Greg Kingsbury and the Kingsbury Mortgage Team, extending their reach into the Maryland market. This follows recent additions, Carlos Larrazabal and Shannon Leydig, to the start-up mortgage company’s growing sales team roster.

Kingsbury has been originating for 15 years, has helped to arrange almost 1.5 billion dollars in residential mortgages and has provided solutions for thousands of clients within the Washington, D.C., metro area during his career.
“Vellum’s technology and forward-thinking in our changing industry will allow my team and me to provide a smooth and transparent mortgage experience,” said Kingsbury.

Larrazabal has helped to arrange more than $1 billion in residential mortgages during his 15-year origination career. He has been named in the Top Five Latino Mortgage Originators in the U.S. by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) in 2018.

“The support and resources that Vellum provides are allowing me to elevate my business to new levels” Larrazabal said.

Having nearly two decades of mortgage experience, Leydig brings her skills to helping firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, military (active, reserves and veterans), healthcare professionals and teachers with the Homes for Heroes program. Shannon has seen exceptional growth in business, spurred by her dedication and knowledge providing a truly unique mortgage experience for her clients.

“Without question, we feel like we’ve hit a homerun with these three. For a young company like Vellum, it’s fundamental to put the right pieces into place early to establish the correct foundation and culture. Greg, Carlos and Shannon give us that and more,” said Patrick Gardner, Principal at Vellum Mortgage.
