Zillow Group has hired Rian Furey as president of Zillow Home Loans

Zillow Group has hired Rian Furey as president of Zillow Home Loans. He will also oversee Zillow Group's Mortgage portfolio, which includes Marketplace and Mortech. Furey was previously chief operating officer of Impac Mortgage. Earlier in his career, he held roles including chief administrative officer of loanDepot, chief operating officer of LendingTree Loans, vice president of capital markets of Discover Home Loans and chief operating officer of Greenlight Loans
 
Zillow Home Loans is also welcoming Libby Cooper as vice president of strategy and operations. She most recently served as senior vice president of strategy for Impac Mortgage. Darren Apfel is joining the company as senior director of product development after more than 20 years of product leadership experience from Microsoft. Jeff Kibbey was named vice president of compliance–he most recently served as chief compliance officer and general counsel of Sierra Pacific Mortgage Company. And Paul Thomas is the new vice president of finance, previously working as executive vice president of capital markets at SunTrust Mortgage and chief operating officer at Pingora Asset Management.
