NewDay USA is offering veteran families the opportunity to use their VA benefit to purchase a home at an interest rate of 2.25% with no down payment or appraisal fees. The new offering is part of the company's Operation Home, which promotes homeownership for military borrowers.

"Today's low rates give us a historic opportunity to meet our goal to make veterans homeowners," said Rear Admiral Thomas Lynch, executive chairman of NewDay USA. "Many veterans will now have the opportunity to purchase a home of their own for what they pay to rent."

The company will also be sponsoring the Army-Navy football game which takes place on Dec. 12.

The NewDay USA Foundation, the company's philanthropic arm, has provided over $2 million in four-year scholarships for JROTC military high schools across the nation to the children of fallen and disabled military veterans, according to a press release. The Foundation contributes 5% of its net income to veteran charities.
