Amerifirst Adds New CIO

Photo of Thinh NguyenAmerifirst Home Mortgage appointed Thinh Nguyen to serve as the company's chief information officer. In his new role, Nguyen will oversee all aspects of the company's IT department, including its strategy, execution and infrastructure.

Nguyen has more than 20 years of experience leading major digital transformation initiatives and delivering large-scale business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and enterprise solutions, according to Amerifirst. Most recently, he served as chief information officer of servicing at Flagstar Bank. Before this, he served as senior vice president of IT at Mr. Cooper.

“His broad background, with an emphasis on the customer experience, aligns with our service model and will be particularly valuable as we continue to grow and provide homeownership opportunities across the nation,” said Mark Jones, co-CEO and co-founder of Amerifirst Home Mortgage.

Nguyen previously held leadership roles at Alcon Laboratories, JPMorgan Chase, and TPG Capital.
