Academy Mortgage Corporation Names Kristi Pickering President

Academy Mortgage Corporation announced that Kristi Pickering has been appointed president of the company. This shift will provide the company’s current CEO James Mac Pherson with more capacity to focus on strategic growth opportunities while Pickering concentrates on the day-to-day operations of the organization.

Since joining Academy Mortgage in 2019, Pickering has served as the company’s chief operations officer. Under her leadership, the company has developed a dynamic operations team, expanded its technology landscape, and implemented several operational process improvements. 

“Kristi is an incredible leader and an inspiration to many. I’ve known her for years and worked with her in several different roles. She has not only my trust but my utmost confidence,” said Mac Pherson. “Kristi is a true servant leader and will be instrumental in this new role. I could not be more excited about the future of Academy Mortgage.”

As president, Pickering will oversee the implementation of the Utah-based company’s strategies to support its long-term vision. She will work closely with the executive team to lead the operations of the organization and optimize efficiencies to continue to streamline and elevate the way Academy Mortgage does business.
