Assurance Financial Expands Across Southern U.S.

A Baton Rouge, L.A.-based boutique mortgage banker is expanding its southern footprint.

Assurance Financial announced the opening of three new branches in Texas, Florida, and Alabama to reach more families and communities. The new offices will be headed up by three leaders at Assurance Financial, company officials said in a statement.

“At Assurance Financial, we believe that buying a home should be a rewarding and enjoyable experience, not just a transaction,” Assurance Financial CEO Kenny Hodges said. “With our expansion into Texas, Florida, and Alabama, and the incredible expertise that Mike, Bart, and Lori bring, we’re thrilled to help more families find the right mortgage solutions with a personal touch. This growth represents our dedication to making homeownership accessible and seamless for even more people, and we’re excited to support these communities with the care they deserve.”

Texas Regional Manager Mike Turk has been appointed to head up the company’s branch in the Lone Star State, harnessing his 30-plus years of mortgage lending experience. 

Seasoned VA loan officer Bart Swan, who has extensive experience working with veterans and military families, was appointed to lead Assurance Financial’s Florida branch, in the town of Niceville. 

Lori Harris will establish the branch in Montgomery, Alabama, bringing her experience and enthusiasm to the role, company officials said.

“Known for her commitment to building meaningful client relationships and providing tailored solutions,” the release stated, “Lori’s knowledge and dedication is an asset to the Alabama community."
