Asurity Advisors, a mortgage consulting firm, announced that regulatory compliance, banking law, and corporate finance executive, Carl Pry, has joined the team as Senior Advisor. Pry brings decades of industry knowledge and advisory experience to his new role supporting clients with compliance strategy and execution.
Specifically, Pry is expected to play a role in Asurity Advisors' fair lending and compliance practice groups by providing risk management and compliance expertise.
“His deep subject matter expertise combined with his years of industry experience further expands our ability to provide clients with expert guidance in navigating the complexities of the regulatory and risk management landscape,” said Grace Brasington, Executive Managing Director.
Additionally, Pry will be working closely with banking industry training expert, Patti Joyner, to develop and deliver professional training development programs. Brasington added that Pry will continue to ensure financial professionals have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed and advance in their careers as “the consummate teacher.”
Previously, Pry held a variety of senior leadership positions at consultancies and financial institutions, including senior vice president and compliance manager for the compliance and control division at KeyBank, manager of finance and performance management services line at Accenture, and vice president of regulatory services at Kirchman Corporation.
Pry frequently contributes and serves as the Co-Chair of the Editorial Advisory Board for the ABA Risk and Compliance Magazine. As a speaker and educator, Pry has led hundreds of banking and compliance training sessions across the country.
