Brandy Walton Advanced To COO Of GVC Mortgage

Promotion came after mortgage industry exec spent a year developing strategic initiatives for the lender
GVC Mortgage, Inc., a family-owned mortgage lender offering various loan programs including conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA loans, promoted Brandy Walton to chief operating officer. Since June 2024, she has served as the company’s vice president of business initiatives.
“We are excited to announce Brandy Walton is stepping into the Chief Operating Officer role,” GVC Mortgage stated in a Facebook post. The company said Walton “has already proved to be a valuable asset at GVC by leading strategic initiatives, program development, and efficiency-building.”
“In her new role as COO, Brandy will lead with a blend of strategic vision and operational discipline,” GVC added, “focusing on driving process efficiency, advancing technology adoption, and strengthening performance across all areas of the organization.”
Walton describes herself as a “servant leader” in her LinkedIn profile, and also as a “senior mortgage leader with 25-plus years of comprehensive experience across all channels of mortgage lending.”
In her most recent experience prior to joining GVC, Walton spent two years as senior vice president of business initiatives at privately held, full-service mortgage company Planet Home Lending, LLC and, prior to that, five years at mortgage lender and servicer Homepoint.
"Brandy's extensive background leading and scaling high-functioning teams is exactly what we need as an organization right now as we look to grow strategically in key markets across the country without losing who GVC is — a relationship-driven organization," stated GVC Mortgage CEO Brock Walradth.
Through direct partnership with the operations team and salesforce, Walton is tasked with providing high-level support “that will directly impact the success of [GVC’s] teams” and build on the company’s performance and service.
