Brody | Gapp LLP Strengthens National Presence With Strategic Additions
Brody | Gapp expands its footprint with three key hires, enhanced litigation capabilities, and increased industry leadership across the mortgage finance sector
Brody | Gapp LLP, a national law firm focused on serving mortgage banking and financial services institutions, announced a series of hires, enhanced industry engagement, and growing media recognition as part of its continued expansion. The firm’s latest actions are designed to deepen its legal capabilities and elevate its influence across the mortgage finance sector.
Nathan Kunz has joined Brody | Gapp as of counsel, bringing extensive commercial litigation experience, including partnership experience at an Am Law 100 firm. His practice areas include contract disputes, employment law, trade secret litigation, and class action defense — adding significant strength to the firm’s commercial dispute resolution services.
In addition, Brody | Gapp welcomes Heather Dynes in the role of firm administrator. With more than 20 years of experience in full-service law firms, Dynes will manage day-to-day operations for Brody | Gapp’s fully remote workforce, including human resources, technology integration, and vendor relationships.
Enhancing litigation support, Elma Saxon, an ABA-certified senior paralegal with 18 years of experience, also joins the firm. Saxon’s expertise in e-discovery and complex litigation support is expected to advance Brody | Gapp’s operational and procedural capacities in both commercial litigation and corporate transactions.
"These additions reflect our commitment to building a world-class team capable of serving the evolving needs of the mortgage industry," said Managing Partner James Brody. "Combined with our growing platform presence, we continue to strengthen our position as the premier legal partner for financial institutions nationwide."
In addition to personnel growth, Brody | Gapp is expanding its industry leadership footprint, as Brody and Founding Partner Ron Gapp spoke at the recent 2026 New England Mortgage Expo in Connecticut. Brody will also present at the Mortgage Collaborative conference in Scottsdale, joined by Founding Partners Scott Harkless and Ashley Jumpp for a legal roundtable on mortgage banking, compliance, and litigation strategies.
