Former CoreLogic executive appointed to lead role

A 25-year industry veteran has been appointed CEO of Austin, Texas-based fintech Calque.

Michael Bremer, who most recently served as executive of flood solutions at CoreLogic, brings more than 25 years of experience to the company.

Bremer provided operational oversight to teams at CoreLogic and First American, where he held senior leadership roles. He's fully on board with Calque's 'buy-before-you-sell' loan solution, which he says empowers lenders and realtors.

“I’m excited to work with Calque because we help established lenders and real estate agents meet consumer needs without disintermediating them or disrupting their traditional roles,” Bremer said in a statement. “Instead of displacing all of those involved in the homebuying process, we are committed to empowering them to secure the best outcomes for their business and customers alike.”

Calque officials said Bremer’s experience in the mortgage, real estate and compliance sectors will serve well in their plans to scale and grow.

The company partners with community banks and credit unions, pioneering trademarked lending solutions like The Move Ahead Mortgage and The Trade-In Mortgage.
