CrossCountry Appoints Adam Slack SVP In Wilmington, N.C.
As an experienced originator, Slack says he and his team prioritize ‘continuous growth’
Adam Slack, a loan originator with some 15 years' experience, has been named senior vice president of mortgage lending at CrossCountry Mortgage in Wilmington, N.C.
CrossCountry was ranked the nation’s top retail mortgage lender this year. The company has more than 7,000 employees operating over 700 branches and servicing loans in the 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
“I can’t wait to start my new role at the number-one retail mortgage lender in the country,” Slack said in a recent post on LinkedIn. “Count me in with CCM!” The post also read, “Same team, new home.”
Slack previously served as a senior vice president of mortgage lending at Guaranteed Rate. In a release from CrossCountry, he stated, “CCM’s business model and extensive product portfolio are unmatched in this industry and will help me continue to provide my borrowers with outstanding service and the best products I can.”
CrossCountry also noted that Slack has been the top loan originator in eastern North Carolina for the last eight years and accrued more than $1.3 billion in total funded loan volume, which includes FHA, non-QM, purchase, refinance, USDA, and VA loans.
In his LinkedIn profile, Slack also lists himself as owner and chief financial officer of the Springfield, Va., Two Men and a Truck, part of a chain of moving and storage companies.
