First Horizon Corp. Announces Retirement Of Harry V. Barton Jr.

Barton, age 70, will retire from the Boards of Directors at the conclusion of his current term

Today, First Horizon Corporation announces that Harry Barton Jr., 70, will retire from the Boards of Directors of First Horizon Corporation and First Horizon Bank at the conclusion of his current term.

Barton joined First Horizon’s board in 2020 following the merger of equals with IBERIABANK, where he had served as a director since 1993. A Louisiana native and resident, he is a certified public accountant, registered investment advisor, and owner of Barton Advisory Services, LLC, an investment advisory firm based in Lafayette, Louisiana. Barton has practiced as a CPA since 1984, primarily as the owner of his own accounting firm.

"His extensive experience and knowledge of public company audit, risk and compliance matters, along with his years of board experience, have been invaluable in guiding the direction of our organization. I am grateful for his steadfast leadership and counsel and wish him well in his retirement."
