Former NYSE, ICE Chairman Appointed President Of Acrisure

Tuttle will join the global fintech as its president, effective September 1, 2024.
Acrisure announced today that John Tuttle, currently Vice Chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, will join Acrisure as President, effective September 1, 2024. Tuttle will relocate to Grand Rapids, Mich., and report to Acrisure Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO Greg Williams.
Throughout a 17-year career at the NYSE and its parent, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), which began after service in the U.S. government, Tuttle served in a range of leadership roles.
Tuttle helped drive the NYSE’s operational and financial performance as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer, among other roles. At the NYSE, Tuttle was involved in nearly every line of business, including listings, capital markets, and exchange-traded products, helping manage the Exchange's relationships with 2,400 issuers and over 1,300 equity offerings, including IPOs and follow-ons, which raised over $1.5 trillion. Most recently, Tuttle created and served as President of the NYSE Institute, the Exchange’s platform bridging public policy and global commerce.
"John's command of the capital markets, and his deeply-rooted relationships throughout the financial services industry, position him as an ideal candidate to join Acrisure at a pivotal moment,” said Williams. “John’s experience in the global arena will complement our entrepreneurial team, and his work in both the public and private sectors position him as a strong advocate for our company and clients as we continue to transform and grow."
Commented Tuttle, "I am thrilled to join Acrisure, a company that embodies growth, ambition, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. I look forward to working closely with Greg and the entire Acrisure team to drive further success and deliver unmatched value to its clients and partners."
Tuttle received his Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Michigan University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Tuttle serves on the board of directors of various corporate and non-profit organizations and, prior to joining the NYSE, served in the administration of President George W. Bush at the U.S. Department of State.
“We are grateful to John for his many years of leadership and service at NYSE,” said Jeff Sprecher, Founder, Chair, and CEO of ICE. “All of us at ICE wish John the best in his new role and couldn’t be happier that he joined a company with the stature of Acrisure. We look forward to working with John in his new capacity and to witnessing Acrisure’s many future successes."
