The Pendleton, Indiana-based GVC Mortgage has welcomed a new Senior Vice President and National Director of Strategic Lending.
Jim Janczy actually began his mortgage career the same year GVC Mortgage was founded – 1996. He started as a loan officer at Bay Bank in Boston 28 years ago, going on to found the South Coast Financial Group as CEO later that year.
“I started in retail…so yeah, I guess I came back full circle to retail,” Janczy noted in a phone interview with NMP Friday.
Janczy is excited to “have fun and grow” in his new role at GVC, where he will be responsible for spearheading strategic initiatives aimed at expanding company market share and driving growth. He will also support retail recruitment efforts and help maximize revenue opportunities with new lending channels.
“The company is growing and the executive team is strong,” Janczy pointed out. “They’ve got the right plan for growth and the team is very experienced and very knowledgeable. It’s a collaborative-type environment which is right up my alley… It’s a time in my career where I have to capitalize on the connections and experience I have to hopefully take it to the next level.”
GVC Mortgage CEO Brock Walradth is confident Janczy’s leadership will play a pivotal role in the company’s success and growth.

This marks Janczy’s departure from NewFed Mortgage Corp., where he worked as Executive Vice President and Chief Production Officer since 2022. He previously held leadership roles at Home Point Financial, Wells Fargo, and Envoy Mortgage. The native of New Jersey grew up in Southeastern Mass., where he still resides. Janczy is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a degree in management.
