Cepeda will focus on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving continued success.

Panorama Mortgage Group has appointed Juan Cepeda as chief operating officer, the company announced this week, bringing a seasoned mortgage executive with more than two decades of experience into one of its top leadership roles.

In his new position, Cepeda will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at the firm, with a focus on process optimization, efficiency gains and strategic growth. He joins Panorama at a time when the industry is facing mounting pressure to modernize and adapt amid shifting market dynamics and consumer expectations.

“His deep industry expertise and proven track record in driving operational improvements will be crucial to advancing our growth strategy,” said Jason Madiedo, chief executive of Panorama Mortgage Group. “Juan’s commitment to mentorship and his focus on developing talent aligns with our values and long-term vision.”

Cepeda’s background includes leadership roles at the executive level, including executive vice president of retail lending and senior vice president of operations. In those posts, he led national production teams and helped roll out systems aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.

He is also known for fostering collaborative cultures and mentoring professionals across the organizational spectrum — from loan originators to senior leaders — in an effort to develop the next generation of talent in the mortgage industry.

Cepeda has placed particular emphasis on integrating technology to streamline workflows, a hallmark of his operational strategy. His efforts, colleagues say, have resulted in scalable and agile business solutions designed to keep pace with the evolving financial services landscape.

Panorama Mortgage Group, which operates a family of companies across the mortgage lending space, described Cepeda’s appointment as a continuation of its long-term plan to grow sustainably while remaining nimble in a competitive marketplace.
