ICBA CRA Solutions elevates longtime executive Kristine LaVigna to president and CEO, positioning the organization to expand CRA-focused programs and support community banks nationwide
ICBA CRA Solutions/USI Alliance, a subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), has named Kristine LaVigna as its new president and chief executive officer. LaVigna will oversee all operations of USI Alliance and its business units as part of efforts to strengthen community banks’ impact through Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)-aligned lending, investment, and service initiatives.
LaVigna brings extensive industry experience to the position, having been with ICBA CRA Solutions since 2013 and holding progressively senior responsibilities over the past decade. Prior to joining ICBA CRA Solutions, she spent 18 years in investment banking in New York City and later operated her own consulting practice, assisting small businesses with strategic growth planning.
“Kristine brings deep expertise and a proven track record of leadership to this position,” said Kevin Tweddle, ICBA senior EVP of innovation. “We’re fortunate to have such a steady hand guiding this organization and look forward to leveraging her talents in service of community banks and the customers and communities they serve.”
LaVigna expressed enthusiasm about her new role, stressing her commitment to advancing the CRA efforts of community banks nationwide.
“I’m honored to lead ICBA CRA Solutions and support the Community Reinvestment Act efforts of community banks nationwide,” she said. “Together, we will continue developing innovative programs that make a meaningful difference for some of the most vulnerable members of our communities.”
For more than 25 years, ICBA CRA Solutions has supported community banks in fulfilling CRA obligations while reinforcing community commitments, particularly through crime-prevention programs targeting at-risk seniors in low- to moderate-income areas. The organization administers these programs in nearly 1,000 CRA-qualified senior living facilities across the United States.
ICBA CRA Solutions provides a range of services including CRA education and training, support services, peer group collaboration, and CRA-qualified loans, investments, and services to help community banks optimize compliance and earn meaningful CRA credit.
The ICBA’s mission is to create and promote an environment where community banks can flourish, powering their potential through advocacy, education, and innovation.
