MeridianLink Embeds AI Agents Into Lending Platform

New “Millie” assistant and platform updates aim to streamline decisioning, improve efficiency, and enhance borrower experience

MeridianLink is expanding its use of artificial intelligence and automation across its lending platform, introducing embedded AI “agents” and a new set of enhancements designed to improve efficiency and decision-making throughout the lending lifecycle.

The company announced MeridianLink Intelligence, an AI layer integrated into its MeridianLink One platform, along with broader updates focused on helping financial institutions streamline operations, scale production, and improve borrower experience.

AI Moves Into The Core Workflow

At the center of the rollout is “Millie,” an AI-powered assistant designed to automate tasks, surface insights, and support users across the lending process.

According to MeridianLink, the AI agents are embedded directly within the platform, allowing lenders to incorporate automation into existing workflows rather than relying on separate tools. The company said this approach is intended to reduce manual processes and improve operational consistency.

Enhancements Target Efficiency And Decisioning

MeridianLink also introduced a new wave of platform enhancements aimed at improving growth, efficiency, and customer experience across the lending lifecycle.

The updates include expanded workflow automation, enhanced decisioning capabilities, and user experience improvements designed to help lenders manage volume and streamline operations.

The company said the platform’s architecture — including configurable automation and integration capabilities — allows lenders to tailor workflows while reducing reliance on legacy systems.

What It Means

Institutions are increasingly embedding automation and intelligence directly into core systems to improve speed, consistency, and operational control. Rather than adopting standalone AI tools, lenders are prioritizing integrated platforms that support end-to-end lending processes within a single environment.

For mortgage professionals, that shift is translating into more efficient workflows, improved borrower communication, and more consistent decision-making across the origination process.

MeridianLink said its latest updates are designed to support those outcomes by combining automation, data-driven insights, and operational tools within a unified platform.
