Nations Lending Grows Calif. Presence With San Diego Branch
Lani Furrows and Andy Wagner to co-lead branch.
Nations Lending, a full-service national mortgage lender, has announced the opening of its newest branch in Point Loma, a seaside community in San Diego, Calif.
The company has hired Lani Furrows and Andy Wagner as branch managers. Furrows and Wagner will report to Regional Manager Mike Towery and oversee growing the branch’s loan volume production.
Furrows, a 26-year industry veteran, joins Nations after serving more than eight years as branch manager at Caliber Home Loans. She has closed over 6,800 loans over the course of her career.
Wagner also comes from Caliber after more than eight years. After 11 years in lending, he exhibits his unique experience in finance, having formerly served as the chief financial officer of an automotive company, Nations Lending said. His background in accounting and tax preparation has allowed him to specialize in complex loan scenarios such as self-employed borrowing, it said.
In 2021, Furrows and Wagner led their branch at Caliber to more than $400 million in loan volume production.
“Nations welcomed our creative full-service and customer-oriented lending approach,” Furrows said. “Our team’s success stems from personalized goal-setting and consulting we commit to with every client, and we hope to blend the nimbleness and service Nations provides its customers.”
"Nations has an incredible company culture and is one of the best in the business at servicing its clients,” Wagner said. “Delivering top-notch customer service is a priority for us and Nations Lending’s common-sense lending approach allows us to capitalize on our efforts.”
“Lani and Andy are two incredible additions to the team,” Towery said. “Their lending experience in San Diego will ensure we grow while delivering stellar results to our clients.”
