Nora Guerra Joins Guild Mortgage As SVP, Community Lending Solutions

Guild Mortgage has appointed Nora Guerra as its new senior vice president of community lending solutions. Guerra previously served as the senior manager of national affordable lending at Freddie Mac and brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the mortgage industry.

In her new role as SVP of Community Lending Solutions, Guerra will oversee the development and expansion of programs, policies, and initiatives that promote attainable homeownership. This includes mortgage lending, down payment assistance, financial education, and community outreach.

In 2023, Guerra received the Latino Leadership Award from Diversity Journal in recognition of her dedicated advocacy for Latino housing equality and efforts to improve financial literacy among Latino high school and university students. She was also honored with the Freddie Mac CEO Award for her contributions to advancing homeownership within the housing industry over the past year.
